It includes much-loved favourites such as O Sole Mio (Eduardo Di Capua) and Core ’Ngrato (Stefano Cardillo) alongside other classics of the early twentieth-century Italian song repertoire by Renato Brogi, Enrico Cannio, Ernesto De Curtis, Stefano Donaudy and Salvatore Gambardella. It also includes the composer Ruggero Leoncavallo, most renowned for his opera I Pagliacci, with his beautiful aria Mattinata.
